On September 23, 2021, Investcorp Strategic Capital Group announced it has partnered with Seward & Kissel client Marblegate Asset Management, LLC.
Under the terms of the agreement, Seward & Kissel client Marblegate Asset Management, LLC (“Marblegate”) has partnered with Investcorp Strategic Capital Group (“Investcorp”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. A Seward & Kissel team led by Business Transactions Group partners Craig Sklar and Gary Anderson, Tax partner Jon Brose, and associate Stephanie Winkler represented Marblegate in connection with the transaction.
Marblegate, based in Greenwich, Connecticut, is an investment firm focusing on credit opportunities and special situations.
Investcorp, based in New York, is a global investment manager, specializing in alternative investments in private equity, real estate, credit, absolute return strategies, GP stakes and infrastructure.
