KBC Acquires Remaining Shares in Polish Asset Manager

On January 17, 2012, KBC Asset Management NV announced that it had reached an agreement with Kredyt Trade Sp z.o.o. and Warta to buy their stakes in Polish asset management company KBC TFI.


On January 17, 2012, KBC Asset Management announced that it had reached an agreement with both Kredyt Trade Sp z.o.o. and Warta to buy their 30% stakes in Polish asset management company KBC TFI fir a total of PLN 75 million.  Following the transaction, KBC Asset Management will become a 100% shareholder in KBC TFI.  KBC Asset Management will continue to offer asset management services on the Polish market through KBC TFI.  The transaction is subject to the regulatory approval of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF).
