Julius Baer’s Infidar Investment Advisory to Merge with WMPartners

On November 19, 2013, Julius Baer announced that Infidar Investment Advisory, part of the Julius Baer Group, will merge with WMPartners Wealth Management.  Following the transaction, the new company will be one of Switzerland’s largest independent asset managers.


On November 19, 2013, Julius Baer announced that Infidar Investment Advisory Ltd., part of the Julius Baer Group, will merge with WMPartners Wealth Management Ltd.  The transaction has been structured so that Julius Baer Group will acquire WMPartners, and subsequently Infidar will merge with WMPartners.  Following the transaction, the new company will be one of Switzerland’s largest independent asset managers and have approximately CHF 4 billion in assets under management.  Partners in both companies will remain in management positions.  The terms of the transaction, expected to close in the first quarter of 2014, were not disclosed.
