In Article #1, Ringdahl takes a look at the traditional asset management industry. He highlights the overwhelming consensus about the serious challenges of the industry and suggests that continued challenges are already priced into the valuations of publicly-listed and privately-held businesses. However, Ringdahl also suggests that change creates opportunity, and incumbents should capture the majority of any upside benefits.
