iM Global Partner Acquires Minority Stake in Longfellow
Seward & Kissel client iM Global Partner (“iMGP”) announced, on August 4, 2026, its acquisition of a minority stake in Longfellow Investment Management (“LIM”). Under the terms of the transaction, LIM will continue to be majority women and employee owned. Further terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
LIM, based in Boston, is a registered investment adviser and investment management firm offering fixed income, equity, absolute return, and alternative strategies to its client base. LIM has approximately $25 billion in assets under management. Colchester Partners acted as financial advisor to LIM in the transaction.
iMGP, based in Paris, France, is an asset management platform offering mutual funds, active ETFs and SMAs. As of July 31, 2026, iMGP had approximately $41 billion in assets under management. A Seward & Kissel team led by partners Jim Abbott, James Cofer, and Gerhard Anderson provided legal advice to iMGP in the transaction.
