On July 28, 2021, it was announced that Seward & Kissel client iM Global Partner SAS has partnered with Richard Bernstein Advisors LLC.
Under the terms of the agreement, Seward & Kissel client iM Global Partner SAS (“iM Global”) received a 45% non-controlling stake in Richard Bernstein Advisors LLC (“RBA”). Terms of the deal were not disclosed. A Seward & Kissel team led by partners Jim Abbott, Gary Anderson, Anne Patin and James Cofer and associate Maria Rivera-Diaz represented iM Global in connection with the transaction.
iM Global is an asset management network focused on acquiring strategic investments in traditional and alternative investment firms in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. iM Global has approximately $35 billion in assets under management as of July 2021. Hottinguer Corporate Finance served as financial advisor to iM Global on the transaction.
RBA, based in New York, is an independent registered investment manager, specializing in asset allocation. As of June 2021, RBA had approximately $14.6 billion in assets under management and advisement. Piper Sandler & Co. served as financial advisor to RBA on the transaction.
