On August 23, 2022, iCapital announced that it will acquire UBS Fund Advisor LLC.
Under the terms of the agreement, iCapital will acquire UBS Fund Advisor LLC (“UBS Fund Advisor”). Upon completion of the transaction, which is expected to close in the second half of 2022, iCapital will take over management of the UBS Fund Advisor platform. Further terms were not disclosed.
iCapital, based in New York, is financial technology company offering services to wealth management, banking, and asset management companies. As of July 31, 2022, iCapital serviced approximately $136 billion in client assets.
UBS Fund Advisor, based in New York, is a US-based alternative investment management division of the financial services company UBS Group AG (NYSE: UBS). UBS Fund Advisor’s platform, which is known as “AlphaKeys Funds” represents approximately $7 billion in client assets.
