On May 31, 2023, Hightower Advisors, LLC (“Hightower”) invested in Vigilant Wealth Management ("Vigilant"). Vigilant is led by co-founders Scott Sorensen, Daniel Mulkern, and Jeffry Carlisle. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Hightower, based in Chicago, is a wealth management firm that provides investment, financial and retirement planning services to individuals, foundations, and family offices. As of March 31, 2023, Hightower had $119.9 billion in assets under management.
Vigilant, based in Portland, Maine, is an investment advisory firm specialized in providing comprehensive investment and wealth planning solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families, executives, entrepreneurs, and business owners. As of March 31, 2023, Vigilant had $2.3 billion in assets under management. Cambridge International Partners served as Vigilant’s financial advisor on the transaction.
