On July 10, 2023, Hightower Advisors, LLC announced an investment in GMS Surgent, LLC.
Under the terms of the transaction, Hightower Advisors, LLC (“Hightower”) has acquired a stake in GMS Surgent, LLC (“GMS”) in a transaction that closed on June 30, 2023.. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Hightower, based in Chicago, is a wealth management firm that provides investment, financial and retirement planning services to individuals and institutional investors. As of March 2023, Hightower had approximately $119.9 billion in assets under management.
GMS, based in Devon, Pennsylvania, is an accounting firm providing tax and wealth planning services to businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
