On December 14, 2021, Hightower Advisors, L.L.C. announced that it will invest in 6 Meridian.
Under the terms of the transaction, Hightower Advisors, L.L.C. (“Hightower”) will acquire a stake in 6 Meridian (“6 Meridian”). The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021. Further terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Hightower, based in Chicago, is a wealth management firm, providing financial, investment, and retirement services to individuals, foundations and family offices. Hightower also offers 401(k) consulting and cash management services to corporations. As of September 30, 2021, Hightower had approximately $132.2 billion in assets under administration and $104.1 billion in assets under management.
6 Meridian, based in Wichita, Kansas, is a wealth management firm with approximately $1.8 billion in assets under management. Berkshire Global Advisors served as exclusive financial advisor to 6 Meridian on the deal.
