On October 19, 2018, Harvest Partners announced that Goldman Sachs Asset Management had made a strategic minority investment in Harvest Partners.
Under the terms of the transaction, Goldman Sachs Asset Management (“GSAM”) has made a passive minority investment in Harvest Partners (“Harvest”), which represents 15% of Harvest. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
GSAM is an asset manager that specializes in investment and advisory solutions in private equity, hedge fund, fixed income, and other financial services. GSAM’s Alternative Investment & Manager Selection Group has over $200 billion in assets under management.
Harvest, founded in 1981 and based in New York, is a private equity investment firm that specializes in middle market management buyouts and recapitalizations.
