On October 1, 2021, Focus Financial Partners Inc. announced it will acquire New England Investment & Retirement Group, Inc.
Under the terms of the transaction, Focus Financial Partners Inc. (“Focus”) will acquire New England Investment & Retirement Group, Inc. (“NEIRG”). The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Focus (NASDAQ: FOCS), headquartered in New York, New York, is a partnership of independent, fiduciary wealth management firms and provides resources and wealth management services for its partner firms who serve individuals, families, employers, and institutions.
NEIRG, headquartered in North Andover, Massachusetts, is a Registered Investment Advisor that provides wealth management services to high-net-worth individuals and families, trusts, estates, endowments, and retirement plans.
