On April 3, 2023, Focus Financial Partners announced the acquisition of Westcourt Capital Corporation.
Under the terms of the transaction, Focus Financial Partners (“Focus Financial”) will acquire all the assets of Westcourt Capital Corporation (“Wescourt”). The transaction is scheduled to close in the second quarter of 2023, subject to standard closing conditions.
Focus Financial (Nasdaq: FOCS), based in New York, is a financial firm specializing in investments in registered investment advisers. Focus Financial has over $350 billion in assets under management.
Westcourt, based in Canada, is an investment manager focusing on alternative investment strategies for families and ultra-high net worth individuals. Westcourt manages $2.5 billion in client assets.
