On September 15, 2022, Focus Financial Partners announced a plan to acquire Beaumont Financial Partners.
Under the terms of the transaction, Focus Financial Partners (“Focus”) will acquire Beaumont Financial Partners (“Beaumont”). The transaction is scheduled to close in the fourth quarter of 2022, subject to standard closing conditions. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Focus, based in New York, is a public company listed as FOCS on the Nasdaq stock exchange. Focus serves individuals and families, employers, and large institutions and has $350 billion assets under management.
Beaumont, based in Needham, MA, is a registered investment advisor with full-scale wealth management offerings for affluent individuals and families, small businesses, and charities. Beaumont manages over $2.69 billion in client assets. Beaumont received financial advice on this transaction from the investment banking and mergers and acquisitions advisory firm Colchester Partners.
