On July 6, 2022, First Trust Capital Partners, LLC announced an agreement to acquire Veriti Management LLC.
Under the terms of the transaction, First Trust Capital Partners, LLC (“First Trust”) will acquire Veriti Management LLC (“Veriti”). The deal is expected to close on July 31, 2022, subject to customary closing conditions. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
First Trust, based in Wheaton, Illinois, is an affiliate of First Trust Advisors L.P., a registered investment advisor, and First Trust Portfolios L.P., a FINRA registered broker-dealer, and invests in early and growth stage companies that focus on financial services businesses.
Veriti, based in Boston, Massachusetts, is a registered investment advisor offering direct indexing services to institutions and wealth management firms.
