First Asset Management Sells Trient Asset Management

On May 26, 2011, pionline.com reported that Knut Kjaer and three other people had acquired Trient Asset Management from First Asset Management.


On May 26, 2011, pionline.com reported that Knut Kjaer, former CEO of Norges Bank Investment Management, along with Erik Syvertsen, Tore Lysebo and Geir Stenseth had acquired Trient Asset Management from First Asset Management.  Trient will subadvise on the $500 million in multiasset strategies run by First Asset Management, a subsidiary of First Securities.  Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
