On October 3, 2022, Federated Hermes, Inc. announced the acquisition of CW Henderson & Associates, Inc.
Under the terms of the agreement, Federated Hermes, Inc. (“Federated Hermes”) will acquire substantially all of the assets of C.W. Henderson & Associates, Inc. (“C.W. Henderson”). Upon completion of the transaction, Federated Hermes will change its name to Federated Hermes CW Henderson. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Federated Hermes (NYSE: FHI) is a Pittsburgh-based investment manager. As of June 30, 2022, Federated Hermes had $631.9 billion in assets under management.
C.W. Henderson, based in Chicago, is a registered investment advisor specializing in tax-exempt municipal securities. As of June 30, 2022, C.W. Henderson had $3.63 billion in assets under management.
