Fiera Sceptre to Manage National Bank Securities Mutual Funds

On February 27, 2012, Canada-based National Bank Securities Inc. announced that Fiera Sceptre Inc. will assume portfolio management of the National Bank Securities Mutual Funds currently managed by Natcan Investment Management Inc.


On February 27, 2012, National Bank Securities Inc. announced that, on or about April 30, 2012, Fiera Sceptre Inc. will assume portfolio management of the National Bank Securities Mutual Funds currently managed by Natcan Investment Management Inc.  National Bank Securities is a Montreal, Quebec-based wholly owned subsidiary of National Bank of Canada (CA: NA).  The transaction follows National Bank of Canada’s announcement that Fiera will acquire Natcan’s business from the Bank.  Natcan’s operations will be integrated into Fiera’s existing business.  The transaction is subject to the signing of ancillary agreements, regulatory approval, and shareholder approval.  After the transaction, the Bank will hold a minority interest in Fiera.
