ECHELON Partners LLC published the RIA M&A Deal Report for the second quarter of 2023 (the “Report”), analyzing M&A activity among Registered Investment Advisors. The Report shows a modest decline in transactions, which aligns with historical trends because the second quarter is typically the least active quarter for deal announcements. However, despite the modest dip in transactions, the second quarter of 2023 was the second most active second quarter in industry history.
