Dyal Makes Minority Investment in Vista Equity Partners

On July 14, 2015, Dyal Capital Partners became a minority investor in U.S. investment firm Vista Equity Partners.

Dyal Capital Partners (“Dyal”) is a unit of Neuberger Berman Group established in 2011 and currently has twelve minority partnerships. Vista Equity Partners (“Vista”) was founded in 2000 and has more than $14 billion in cumulative capital commitments. It primary investments are in software, data and technology-based organizations. In the last fifteen years, Vista has processed more than 10 transactions totaling over $45 billion.

Vista will maintain complete control over its firm with Dyal as a passive, minority partner.
The terms of the transaction have not been publicly disclosed.
