Dyal Capital Partners to Acquire Minority Interest in Waterfall

On July 10, 2013, Dyal Capital Partners and Waterfall Asset Management announced that Dyal will acquire a passive minority interest in Waterfall from M.D. Sass-Macquarie Financial Strategies for an undisclosed sum.


On July 10, 2013, Dyal Capital Partners and Waterfall Asset Management announced that Dyal will acquire a passive minority interest in Waterfall from M.D. Sass-Macquarie Financial Strategies for an undisclosed sum.  Waterfall, a New York-based diversified alternative investment firm, has approximately $2.3 billion in assets under management.  Waterfall’s senior management team will remain in place and retain control over the firm’s business and investment operations.  Dyal is a private equity fund managed by Neuberger Berman Group LLC.  The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
