Driehaus to Acquire Opus Capital Management

On May 1, 2019, Driehaus Capital Management announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Opus Capital Management.Pursuant to the agreement, Driehaus Capital Management (“Driehaus”) will acquire a team of small cap-value portfolio managers from Opus Capital Management (“Opus”). Len Haussler and Adam Eagleston, portfolio managers at Opus and analysts David Wagner and Brad Rapking, will join Driehaus after the transaction. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Opus is a Cincinnati, Ohio-based firm with approximately $698.3 million in assets under management, as of December 31, 2018.

Driehaus is a Chicago-based investment adviser that manages active equity strategies and multi-asset alternative investment strategies on behalf of institutional investors and wealth management clients. Park Sutton Advisors, LLC served as adviser to Driehaus.
