On June 16, 2017, DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. announced an agreement to acquire ORION Investment Advisors, a Registered Investment Advisor based in McLean, Virginia.
As part of the transaction, the 11 staff members of ORION Investment Advisors (“ORION”) will join DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. (“DiMeo”). The transaction is expected to close during the second quarter of 2017.
Founded more than 25 years ago, ORION advises institutional and private clients with a focus on investment policy statement development, portfolio construction, and asset allocation strategies.
Established in 1995, DiMeo provides investment consulting services to retirement plans, nonprofits, private clients and financial institutions. As of January 1, 2017, DiMeo had over $66 billion in assets under advisement.
