On November 1, 2023, Dakota Wealth Management announced the acquisition of JMG Wealth Management Group.
Under the terms of the transaction, Dakota Wealth Management (“Dakota”) will acquire JMG Wealth Management Group, Inc. (“JMG”). Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Dakota, headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, is an investment management firm offering estate planning and tax planning services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions. As of November 2023, Dakota had $3.9 billion in assets under management.
JMG, headquartered in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, is an independent investment management firm that provides comprehensive wealth management and planning to families, small business owners, non-profit organizations, and corporate retirement plans. As of November 2023, JMG had $300 million in assets under management. Gladstone Associates served as financial advisor to JMG on the transaction.
