Threadline Wealth (“Threadline”), formerly known as Moss Adams Wealth Advisors, announced, on March 20, 2026, an investment from the Cynosure Group (“Cynosure”). Under the terms of the transaction, Threadline’s 60 employees and existing leadership team will remain in place and Threadline’s nine-person leadership team will have operating control of the business. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Cynosure, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, is a registered investment advisor and private equity firm, providing investment management and wealth management services. Cynosure has approximately $9.8 billion in assets under management.
Threadline, based in Seattle, is a registered investment advisor offering wealth management, investment management, tax planning, and estate planning services. Threadline has approximately $5.8 billion in assets under management. Advisors Growth Strategies served as financial advisor to Threadline on the transaction.
