On November 21, 2023, Curi announced that it will acquire a majority stake in RMB Capital.
Under the terms of the transaction, Curi announced that it will acquire a majority stake in RMB Capital (“RMB”). As part of the deal, Curi Capital, Curi’s registered investment advisory firm, will merge with RMB. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the year. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Curi Capital, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, is a registered investment advisory firm serving individuals, families, and businesses with their personal wealth and workplace retirement plan needs. As of November 2023, Curi Capital had $1.4 billion in assets under management.
RMB Capital, based in Chicago, is an independent, majority employee-owned registered investment advisory firm. As of October 2023, RMB Capital had $9.9 billion in assets under management.
