On November 28, 2023, Creative Planning Inc. announced that it will acquire Daniels + Tansey.
Under the terms of the agreement, Creative Planning Inc (“Creative Planning”) will acquire Daniels + Tansey. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Creative Planning, based in Overland Park, Kansas, is a registered investment adviser specializing in family office and estate planning services for individuals and institutional clients. As of July 2023, Creative Planning had approximately $245 billion in assets under management and advisement.
Daniels + Tansey, based in Wilmington, Delaware, is a registered investment advisor specializing in integrated financial advisory, tax services, and investment management for individuals, families, and small businesses. As of November 2023, Daniels + Tansey had approximately $600 million in assets under management.
