Creative Planning has announced that it acquired ML&R Wealth Management (“ML&R”). The deal included a mixture of cash and equity, but specific financial and other terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Creative Planning, based in Overland Park, Kansas, is a registered investment adviser specializing in family office and estate planning services serving both individual and institutional clients. As of December 31, 2023, Creative Planning had $300 billion in combined assets under management or advisement.
ML&R, based in Austin, Texas, is a financial consulting firm serving individuals, families, businesses, and non-profits. As of December 31, 2023, ML&R had $2.2 billion in assets under management. Raymond James served as financial advisor to ML&R on the transaction.
