On March 29, 2022, Creative Planning LLC announced it acquired Emery Howard.
Under the terms of the transaction, Creative Planning LLC (“Creative Planning”) has acquired Emery Howard. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Creative Planning, based in Overland Park, Kansas, is a registered investment adviser specializing in family office and estate planning services. Creative Planning has over $134 billion in assets under management and $91 billion in assets under advisement.
Emery Howard, based in Burlingame, California, is a registered investment adviser serving high net-worth clients in the Silicon Valley area. Emery Howard has approximately $1.8 billion in assets under management. DeVoe & Company served as Emery Howard’s financial advisor on the deal.
