CORESTATE Acquires STAM Europe

On July 8, 2019, CORESTATE Capital Holding S.A. announced that it had acquired STAM Europe.

Pursuant to the agreement, CORESTATE Capital Holding, S.A. (“CORESTATE”) will acquire substantially all of the assets of STAM Europe (“STAM”) in the final quarter of this year. CORESTATE is expected to increase its assets by approximately €2 billion pursuant to the acquisition. This acquisition represents CORESTATE’s entry into France’s real estate market. The deal is awaiting regulatory approval and further terms of the deal were not disclosed.

STAM, founded in 1997, is a Paris-based investment and asset management firm that focuses on private equity real estate funds and institutional investors interested in European capital outlays. STAM specializes in office, logistics, residential, and retail assets.

CORESTATE (ETR: CCAP) is a real estate investment manager based in Luxembourg. It had approximately €26 billion in assets under management as of July 18, 2019.
