Constellation Wealth Acquires a Minority Stake in Requisite Capital

On May 28, 2024, Constellation Wealth Capital announced that it has taken a minority stake in Requisite Capital Management.

Constellation Wealth Capital (“Constellation”) announced on May 28, 2024, that it acquired a minority stake in Requisite Capital Management (“Requisite”). The transaction closed on April 26, 2024. Further terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Constellation, based in Chicago, is a registered investment advisor (“RIA”) specializing in making minority investments in established RIAs with billions in assets under management. As of March 2024, Constellation had approximately $549.7 million in assets under management.

Requisite, based in Dallas, is an RIA and wealth management firm providing estate planning, investment management, and tax services. As of May 2024, Requisite had approximately $2.3 billion in client assets, including $1.6 billion in assets under management. Colchester Partners served as Requisite’s investment banker on the transaction.
