The Colony Group, LLC (“Colony”) announced on April 8, 2024 that it will acquire InterOcean Capital Group, LLC (“InterOcean”). The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2024. Further terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Colony, based in Boston, is a financial advisory, wealth, and business management services firm. As of December 31, 2023, Colony had approximately $21.5 billion in assets under management.
InterOcean, based in Nashville, Tennessee, is a registered investment advisor serving high-net-worth individuals and families. InterOcean manages approximately $5.8 billion in client assets.
