Clearstead Acquires Clarius

On February 3, 2026, Clearstead Advisors announced that it acquired The Clarius Group.

Clearstead Advisors (“Clearstead”) announced, on February 3, 2026, that it acquired The Clarius Group (“Clarius”). Under the terms of the transaction, which closed on January 31, 2026, 36 Clarius professionals, including founding partners Keith Vernon and Matthew Talbot, will join Clearstead. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Clearstead, based in Cleveland, Ohio, is a registered investment advisor offering financial planning, tax planning, family office, and investment management services. Clearstead has approximately $30 billion in assets under management.

Clarius, based in Seattle, Washington, is a registered investment advisor offering investment management, family office services, and personal accounting. Clarius has approximately $5.1 billion in assets under management.
