On February 27, 2023, Focus Financial announced it had entered a definitive agreement to sell its business to Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC.
Under the terms of the transaction, Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC (“CD&R”) will acquire Focus Financial Partners (“Focus Financial”) at a price of $53 per share and take its business private. The deal is valued at an enterprise value of $7 billion.
CD&R is a New York based private equity firm.
Focus Financial (Nasdaq: FOCS), based in New York, is a financial firm specializing in investments to registered investment advisers. Focus Financial has $350 billion assets under management.
