On August 31, 2023, Focus Financial announced it had completed the sale of its business to Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC.
Under the terms of the transaction, Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC (“CD&R”) has completed the previously announced acquisition of Focus Financial Partners (“Focus Financial”) in an all-cash transaction. The deal is valued at over $7 billion.
CD&R is a New York based private equity firm focusing on investments in business, consumer, technology, and financial services.
Focus Financial (Nasdaq: FOCS), based in New York, is a financial firm specializing in investments to registered investment advisers. Focus Financial has $350 billion assets under management.
