On October 21, 2021, CI Financial Corp. announced that it will acquire McCutchen Group L.L.C.
Under the terms of the transaction, CI Financial Corp. (“CI”), will acquire McCutchen Group LLC (“McCutchen”). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
CI (NYSE: CIXX), based in Toronto, is a registered investment adviser engaged in global asset management and wealth management advisory services. As of June 30, 2021, CI had approximately $320.4 billion in assets under management and advisement.
McCutchen, based in Seattle, is a registered investment adviser offering investment management, tax, estate planning, and family office services to ultra-high-net-worth individuals. McCutchen has approximately $3.4 billion in assets under management and advisement. McCutchen was advised on the deal by the Asset & Wealth Management Investment Banking Group of Raymond James.
