On August 10, 2023, CI Financial announced the acquisition of Coriel Capital.
Under the terms of the transaction, CI Financial Corp. (“CI”) will acquire Coriel Capital Inc. (“Coriel”), subject to regulatory and other customary closing conditions. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
CI (NYSE: CIXX) is an independent company, based in Toronto, Canada, engaged in global asset management and wealth management advisory services. As of June 30, 2022, CI had approximately $398 billion in assets under management and advisement.
Coriel, based in Montreal, is a wealth management firm serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. As of June 30, 2023, Coriel managed $1.3 billion in client assets.
