On January 3, 2023, Choreo, LLC announced the acquisition of Cherry Bekaert Wealth Management LLC.
Under the terms of the transaction, Choreo, LLC (“Choreo”) has completed the previously announced acquisition of Cherry Bekaert Wealth Management LLC (“CBWM”). As part of the agreement, Choreo and CBWM form a strategic partnership and pool resources to make further acquisitions. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Choreo is a Chicago based investment management firm with 28 US locations and over 3,600 clients. Choreo has approximately $11.8 billion in assets under management as of April 2022.
CMWM, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, is a registered investment advisor wholly owned by accounting firm Cherry Bekaert LLP. Cherry Bekaert has approximately $1 billion in client assets under management.
