On August 3, 2023, Cetera Financial Group announced the acquisition of Powell Financial Partners.
Under the terms of the transaction, Cetera Financial Group (“Cetera”) acquired Powell Financial Partners (“Powell”), with Powell to continue to provide services as a Cetera Network Advisor. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Cetera, based in Segundo, California, is a financial advisory firm comprised of a network of independent retail firms. Cetera manages approximately $116 billion in client assets.
Powell, based in Georgetown, Texas is an independent wealth manager offering retirement, estate and other financial planning services.
