On July 5, 2023, Cerity Partners announced its merger with AJ Wealth Strategies, LLC.
Under the terms of the agreement, Cerity Partners (“Cerity”) has merged with AJ Wealth Strategies, LLC (“AJ Wealth”). The combined firm will operate under the Cerity Partners branding. Further terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Cerity, based in New York, is a registered investment advisor that offers financial planning to individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Cerity manages $65 billion in client assets.
AJ Wealth, based in New York, is a registered investment advisor specializing in providing family office services to high-net-worth families. AJ Wealth has $2.5 billion in assets under management. Park Sutton Advisors advised AJ Wealth on the transaction.
