On July 12, 2023, Cerity Partners announced that it merged with Lumina Financial Consultants.
Under the terms of the transaction, Lumina Financial Consultants (“Lumina”) has merged with and become a part of Cerity Partners LLC (“Cerity”). The deal will see the entire Lumina team join Cerity. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Cerity, based in New York City, is a registered investment advisor that offers financial planning to individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Cerity manages $65 billion in client assets under management and under advisement.
Lumina, based in Mill Valley, California, is a wealth management firm focusing on providing financial planning services to women. Lumina manages approximately $134.4 million in client assets.
