On October 3, 2022, Cerity Partners merged with Covington Capital Management.
Under the terms of the transaction, Cerity Partners LLC (“Cerity”) merged with Covington Capital Management (“Covington Capital”). The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Cerity, based in New York, is a registered investment advisor that offers financial planning to individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Cerity manages $26 billion in client assets.
Covington Capital, based in Los Angeles and Orange County, is a registered investment advisor with full-scale wealth management offerings for high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners. Covington Capital manages over $4.2 billion in client assets.
