On February 6, 2023, Focus Financial announced a $4.1 million bid from Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC.
Under the terms of the proposed transaction, Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC (“CD&R”) would acquire Focus Financial Partners (“Focus Financial”) at a price of $53 per share and take its business private. CD&R and Focus Financial have entered into an exclusivity agreement for a period so negotiations can take place.
CD&R is a New York based private equity firm.
Focus Financial (Nasdaq: FOCS), based in New York, is a financial firm specializing in investments to registered investment advisers. Focus Financial has $350 billion assets under management.
