Carson Group (“Carson”) announced, on September 30, 2025, that it acquired Shilanski & Associates (“S&A”). Under the terms of the transaction, S&A’s team will remain in place. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Carson, based in Omaha, Nebraska, is a registered investment advisor offering personalized financial planning, investment management, and business consulting services. Carson has approximately $48 billion in assets under management.
S&A, based in Anchorage, Alaska, is a registered investment advisor offering comprehensive financial planning services. S&A has approximately $436 million in assets. Wise Rhino served as the exclusive M&A advisor to the S&A team.
