On December 8, 2021, Captrust Financial Advisors announced its acquisition of RINET Company, LLC.
Under the terms of the transaction, Captrust Financial Advisors (“Captrust”) has acquired RINET Company, LLC (“RINET”). Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Captrust, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, is an independent registered investment advisor providing investment management, financial planning, estate planning, and tax advisory and compliance for individuals and families. As of September 30, 2021, Captrust had approximately $85 billion in assets under management and $660 billion in assets under advisement.
RINET, based in Boston, is a fee-only firm that provides in-depth analysis and financial guidance to various different types of clients.
