On July 26, 2022, Captrust Financial Advisors announced the acquisition of Frontier Wealth Management.
Under the terms of the transaction, Captrust Financial Advisors (“Captrust”) has acquired Frontier Wealth Management (“Frontier”). 46 members of the Frontier staff will join Captrust, including CEO Nick Blasi. Frontier will take on the Captrust name. Further terms were not disclosed.
Captrust, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, is an independent registered investment advisor offering investment management, estate planning, and other financial services. Captrust has over $100 billion in assets under management and more than $750 billion in assets under advisement.
Frontier, based in Kansas City, Missouri, is a wealth management firm serving clients in the Midwest. Frontier oversees $4 billion in client assets.
