On October 30, 2023, Captrust Financial Advisors announced that it had acquired Column Capital Advisors.
Under the terms of the transaction, Captrust Financial Advisors (“Captrust”) announced that it acquired Column Capital Advisors (“Column Capital”). Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Captrust, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, is an independent registered investment advisor providing investment management, financial planning, estate planning, and tax advisory and compliance for individuals and families. As of March 2023, Captrust had $25 billion in assets under management.
Column Capital, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, is a registered investment advisor that provides investment management, financial planning, and tax services for high-net individuals. As of November 2023, Column Capital had $1.4 billion assets under management.
