On August 23, 2021, it was announced that Buckingham Strategic Wealth, L.L.C. will acquire Siena Capital Management, L.L.C. d/b/a Siena Investments.
Pursuant to the terms of the agreement, Siena Capital Management, L.L.C. d/b/a Siena Investments (“Siena”) will join Buckingham Strategic Wealth (“Buckingham”). The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Buckingham, based in St. Louis, Missouri, is a Focus Financial Partner Inc.-backed registered investment advisor that offers financial planning services to individuals, families, businesses, trusts, nonprofits, retirement plans and medical practice owners. As of December 31, 2020, Buckingham had more than $57 billion of assets under management or administration.
Siena, based in Michigan, is a fee-only fiduciary firm offering wealth management services to executives and other professionals.
