Buckingham Strategic Wealth (“Buckingham”) announced on January 19, 2024 that it acquired Wasserman Wealth Management (“Wasserman”). Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Buckingham, based in St. Louis, Missouri, is a registered investment advisor that provides investment management services to individuals, families, nonprofits, and other organizations. As of September 2023, Buckingham had $24.33 billion in regulatory assets under management.
Wasserman, based in Farmington Hills, Michigan, is a wealth management firm that provides investment and financial planning services. As of January 2024, Wasserman had $306 million in assets under management.
