On November 22, 2022, Buckingham Strategic Wealth, LLC announced the acquisition of Clintsman Financial Planning.
Under the terms of the transaction, Buckingham Strategic Wealth, LLC (“Buckingham”) will acquire Clintsman Financial Planning (“Clintsman”). Clintsman is expected to join Buckingham in the first quarter of 2023, subject to standard closing conditions. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Buckingham, based in St. Louis, is a registered investment advisor that provides investment management services to individuals, families, nonprofits, and other organizations. Buckingham has $20.9 billion in assets under management.
Clintsman, based in Southlake, Texas, is a registered investment advisor that focuses on holistic financial planning services for individuals and families. Clintsman manages approximately $508 million in client assets.
